Concordia String Orchestra is an accomplished, dynamic and friendly amateur musical ensemble based in Aberdeen.

If you would like to join the orchestra, come to one of our concerts or are already a member, these pages will tell you everything you need to know.

Concordia's next concert takes place in Phoenix Hall, Newton Dee on the afternoon of Sunday, November 19th.  We will be performing the charming Suite for Strings by Joan Trimble, together with Finzi's Prelude, Tre Minuetti by Puccini and Sibelius' Suite Champêtre.  We are delighted to welcome Heather Evans and Karin Friedrich for two works for two flutes and strings - the Largo and Allegro by Tchaikovsky and Sibelius' Suite Mignonne.  The concert also includes the premiere of a special string orchestra arrangement of Edward MacDowell's Woodland Sketches, which includes his very well known 'To a Wild Rose'.
